Mary Poppins Comes Back to the Banks
I recently went to see Mary Poppins Returns in the theatre! This movie was an absolute 5 star film and everything about it screamed Mary Poppins and musicals. I would recommend trying to go to a theatre near you that has the new lounge seating, so you can sit up, lay down, or take a nap even during the movie. But don’t fall asleep for this one because it’s amazing. This film is 100% family friendly and is great for kids at the age of 7 and up.
This film stared the astounding Emily Blunt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ben Whishaw, Meryl Streep, Angela Lansbury, and even Dick Van Dyke!!!! Which I’m surprised because at the age of 93, he did pretty darn good for an old fella. The music and singing was great, the dancing was phenomenal, and the actors did such a good job pulling together this amazing recreation of the one and only Mary Poppins. Since I don’t want to spoil the fun for you and give it all away, I’m just going to put it at it was a great movie that I highly recommend you go see and to enjoy the lounge-y chairs if you can. :)
