The Greatest Show On Earth

I decided to review a movie today and it is The Greatest Showman! This film is one of my favorites and I recommend it to kids and adults who like Hairspray, High School Musical, Mamma Mia, and really any movie that has good singing and dancing. One of the songs, “This is Me” won a Golden Globe in 2018 for Best Original Song, a Grammy for Best Soundtrack, and several Teen Choice Awards. The acting was great and the music was phenomenal. I even saw it twice in the theaters because it was so good (be sure to get the lounge-y seating in the theatre). I sing the songs all the time and have even memorized a few. This movie is very clean and is family friendly. The only little thing that I am leery about is the little smoochy-smoochy at the end and the one part where there is a little bit of language but great for kids 11 and up. The Greatest Showman is definitely at the top of my list!

This movie is based on the story and life of P.T. Barnum. It includes the challenges he faced trying to get his circus created. Hugh Jackman (aka Wolverine) plays P.T. Barnum and he was the best choice to play this part in my opinion. The Greatest Showman also stars Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Williams, and Zac Efron. I think that all of these actors did a fantastic job and were perfect for their part. I highly recommend The Greatest Showman and hope are able to watch it!
