3 Times a Charm

The second movie I am going to be reviewing this weekend is How to Train Your Dragon 3: The Hidden World!!! This movie was absolutely amazing I can’t wait to watch it again. If you are familiar with the first two movies then I think you will love this one as much as the others (to be honest, the Hidden World might be my favorite movie out of the 3). This movie is very family friendly and great for kids ages of 8 and up. There is no bloody violence but does offer some mildly, intense scenes. It’s like watching hockey, you just feel the suspense and pressure. Anyway, I give this movie is 5 stars and I really recommend it to families who enjoy Kung Fu Panda, Despicable Me, and Shrek. If you can still see it in the theaters, then I would say to take the chance and go see it, but it is available on DVD and Blu Ray. And also if you didn’t know, the How to Train Your Dragon movie series is actually based on a book series that is phenomenal. If you haven’t read the books I suggest to go ahead and read them. The author, Cressida Cowell, did such a great job.

How to Train Your Dragon 3: The Hidden World has exactly the same characters and dragons just a different storyline/plot. Even though this was such a great movie, I feel the story was similar to the second movie. No spoilers if you haven’t seen either. One thing that was nice about the 3rd movie is that at the end it just kind of wrapped up the whole series (in a good way) giving Hiccup and Toothless and grand finale. Who knows, maybe it will win an Oscar or something in 2020 for Best Animated Film. It has my vote!

Enjoy the show!
