Return of the double decker couch, supersized!
Happy Saturday, everyone! This weekend I will be posting something on Saturday and Sunday because I will be reviewing two different movies. The one I will be reviewing today is The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. Now, my family does enjoy watching movies like How To Train Your Dragon and Kung Fu Panda so we also really enjoy The Lego Movie. I was actually really excited to see what the second lego movie was going to be about so we watched it as soon as it came out on dvd and I have to say that I was kind of disappointed. I would rate the Lego Movie 2: The Second Part at 3 stars and for kids 9 and up. I know I put this movie at 3 stars but I just thought that it wasn’t as good as the first one. The storyline of the second movie took a very big turn on the first one.
I won’t give spoilers but I will three words; triple decker couch! Yes, Emmet comes back with a TRIPLE. DECKER. COUCH. Anyway, the Lego Movie 2: The Second Part just leaves off where the first one ended. This movie is family friendly despite being kind of dark. Overall, this movie was good it just wasn’t thought out very well and doesn’t live up to the first one. And to be honest, I thought they went a little over the top with it.
