A Sprinkle of Creativity

This week’s post is a little different. Rather than posting a novel or movie review, I’m going to share with you the blog to book DIY bestseller, Cupcakes and Cashmere: At Home! I found this book very useful and inspiring. It covers the basics of home decor and interior design and originally started out as a blog. The blog, also named Cupcakes and Cashmere, was created by Emily Schuman. Emily lives in San Francisco with her husband and daughter. She created this amazing blog to celebrate the things she loved. The blog covers everything from traveling to decor, DIY, and so much more. At Home is her second book. If you want to check out the first one, it’s simply titled, Cupcakes and Cashmere. This book was wonderful. Personally, I love interior design and all the marvelous creativity that goes along with it. I felt like this book was very inspirational for me. The pictures inside were amazing and everything the book covered was spot on. I would say there is not an age limit, but to enjoy this book, you need to be interested in the topic. This book is definitely a 5 star read and I hope you get a chance to check it out!

Cupcakes and Cashmere: At Home walks you through Emily’s home and how she decorated, renovated, and brighten up her living space. In addition to home decor, she also gives tips on parties, recipes, wall-hangings and art, and so much more. I just love her style!
