Into the Unknown

Hello fellow readers! I am so sorry for the delay in posts. I was sick for a week and the next week was Thanksgiving! It’s been crazy these past few weeks but today I am sitting down to write a very special review. Frozen 2! Okay, maybe not so special but you get the point. I just saw this movie in the theaters and it was amazing. I was blown away by what this film had to give and it is perfect for all of those Disney lovers out there. This was a definite 5 star movie and is great for kids of all ages (even adults). The storyline was solid and I felt that this movie did a wonderful job of wrapping up the first movie. It was a little suspenseful and I would even say a little scary at some points. Well, for me at least because I’m a baby like that sometimes. I enjoyed the songs better in the second film more than the first. Don’t get me wrong, “Let it Go” and “Love is an Open Door” are iconic Frozen songs but I felt that these new songs told a story. However, dare I say, it did seem like there were too many songs. Sometimes I think they could have just said whatever they were singing instead of having to actually sing it. The sequel was much more comical than the first. There were many, MANY times when everyone in the theatre just burst out laughing. Olaf did not disappoint!

Overall, this movie was fantastic. This film included all of the original cast: Idina Menzel as Elsa, Kristin Bell as Anna, Josh Gad as Olaf, and Jonathan Groff as Cristoff. There are some new characters as well. To avoid any spoilers, I’ll just say some of the cast consists of Jason Ritter, Rachel Matthews, Alfred Molina, and Evan Rachel Wood. I highly recommend this movie for the holidays and I think it was the perfect sequel to the original.

Enjoy the show!
